A Speech To Remember
Jim Valvano, the legendary former NC State basketball coach, is remembered for his passionate speech at the 1993 ESPY Awards.
To this day, his speech is an inspiration to all and serves as a reminder to live life to the fullest and never give up. His message is also embodied in the Jimmy v foundation's motto, "Don't give up…Don't ever give up!" Valvano's three things we should do every day are laugh, think, and cry. Laugh, because life is too short not to; think, because we must learn and grow; and cry, because it's okay to show our emotions.
