Dominant Performance: Union College Men's Basketball Team Secures 101-78 Victory Against Milligan

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College men's basketball team picked up a 101-78 victory over Milligan on Saturday. The Bulldogs led by as many as 27 points.


Markelo Sullivan registered 21 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Sullivan led Union in each of those three categories.


Terrin Hamilton recorded 17 points and seven rebounds. Deonte Douglas tallied 15 points off 7-of-10 shooting from the floor. Douglas led Union in assists with five.

Sam Conley was one of four Bulldogs to score in double figures. He tallied 13 points. Will Bailey contributed nine points for Union, which included an impressive dunk in the second half. Sullivan, Conley, and Jay Falls also recorded a dunk in the game.


Falls scored seven points, while Anton Mozga tallied five. Markelle Turner, Drew Rhodes, Sean Reece, Jordan White, and Omari Glover also scored for the Bulldogs.


Union won the rebounding battle 49-35. The Bulldogs tallied 20 assists to go along with 54 points in the paint.


The Bulldogs are now 13-6 (12-3 AAC) this season, while Milligan is 7-9 (7-7 AAC). Up next for Union is a home conference game against St. Andrews on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 2:00 p.m.
